It's our annual salute to Burning Man, and this year's show is different than in the past. It features music created live on the playa during the 2006 event, interspersed with the actual sounds of the participants. The music is more electronica than trance, and you'll also hear strippers (!), a gay wedding, fire-belching art cars, tribal drumming and chanting, the Procession Of The Lamplighters, the Temple Burn, and the big finale as the Man himself is torched on the festival's final night. The mash-up of music and ambient sound is a bit .... well, unusual for the Trance Mix, and something of an experiment -- much like Burning Man itself.
